STATUS GOLF POLICIES, T&C'S

CANCELLATION POLICY

Your appointments and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected delays can occur, making schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 72 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellation made with more than 72 hours notice may receive a full refund issued in the form of a Gift Card for future use at Status Golf.

  •  

  • Cancellation made less than 72 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the reserved services and the balance will be issued in the form of a gift card for use at Status Golf.

  •  

  • Cancellations made on the day of the service will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 100% of the reserved services.

  •  

  • If you are late for your service, we may not be able to accommodate you for your full booking time due to reservations for other patrons after your scheduled finish time and a refund or credit will not be available. 

  • All group reservations must be paid for in full to secure the reservation.

  • GIFT CARDS AND E-GIFT CARDS

    Please choose carefully as we do not offer exchange or refund on Gift Cards or E-Gift Cards.

    A re-issue of faulty or damaged Gift Cards is not available unless the fault or damage to the Gift Card is proven to be a result of the production or issuing process or otherwise due to the fault of us or our agents or contractors or where otherwise required by law. If you seek a return or refund please contact info@statusgolf.com.au with the reason for your request and proof of purchase for us to review. If any value on a Gift Card has been spent, we are unable to process a return or refund unless required to by law. 

    LOST OR STOLEN GIFT CARDS

    Treat your Gift Card like cash. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded. The bearer of the Gift Card will be taken to be the owner of the Gift Card. If someone has partially or fully redeemed your Gift Card(s) while your mobile device is lost or stolen, Status Golf shall not be liable.

    YOUR CARD, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

    You are responsible for the use and safety of your Gift Card. You are liable for all transactions on your Gift Card. Protect your Gift Card information by viewing it in privacy to ensure no one views and records your 16-digit Gift Card number and or pin.

    PRIVACY POLICY

    Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to responsibly handling your personal information. We only collect and use your personal information as outlined below.

     

    SECTION 1 – GENERAL

    This Privacy Policy sets out how Status Golf collects, stores, uses, and discloses your personal information. Through your use of any Status Golf facilities, stores or website services, you are consenting to the collection and use (as outlined in this Privacy Policy) of this information.

    This Privacy Policy covers Status Golf and D&H Investments Pty Ltd ABN 34 480 659 847, together with any of its Associated Entities. Status Golf and the Associated Entities, together defined throughout this Agreement as Status Golf (‘Status Golf’), and referred to throughout the Privacy Policy as “we,” “us,” or “our.” Where applicable, Status Golf will also be the applicable data controller and will be responsible for your personal information.

    Status Golf takes your privacy seriously and is committed to its compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (‘Privacy Principles’).

     

    SECTION 2 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

    When you purchase something from our store, or online as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, address, and email address.

    When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

    Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our business, new venues, exclusive promotions, and opportunities.

     

    SECTION 3 – CONSENT

    How do you get my consent?

    When you browse our website, provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery, or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. Your consent to this Privacy Policy is the legal basis upon which we can collect, use, store, process, and disclose your personal information.

    If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

    What information we collect:

    Personal information has the meaning given to it under your local data protection laws and generally means information that relates to an individual who can be identified from that information.

    We collect the personal data necessary for us to provide you with the services you have requested from us. You do not have to provide us with your personal information, but if you do not do so, we may not be able to provide you with some or all of our services. By disclosing personal information to Status Golf, you are consenting to its collection.

    Where practicable, we will give you the option of interacting with us anonymously or using a pseudonym.

    Generally, the kinds of personal information Status Golf may collect are:

  • Contact information such as your name, addresses, and email addresses.

  • Other contact details, including online addresses or online names.

  • Anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your postcode, age, gender.

  • Your location or activity, including IP address, and whether you’ve accessed third party sites.

  • Other information relevant to the type of services being provided to you.

  • In regard to any sensitive information, we will only collect sensitive information in compliance with the local data protection laws and/or with your consent and/or where it is reasonably necessary for or directly related to the services that you have requested from us. To the extent permitted by the local data protection laws, you consent to us collecting that sensitive information for the purpose for which it was collected and being stored, used, processed, and disclosed as set out in this Privacy Policy.

    Scope

    This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • All personal information that is collected, stored, used, processed, and disclosed by Status Golf when you purchase our services or goods.

  • The use of personal information that is collected, stored, used, processed, and disclosed when you participate in our events, promotions, or contests or otherwise interact with us (e.g., through social media platforms).

  • How we process your personal information, who we might share it with, and what controls and rights you have in respect of it.

  • If you do not agree to any of the provisions of this Privacy Policy, you must not use our website or any of our services or provide us with any personal information.

    By playing at Status Golf, you consent to the possibility of being photographed for our social media purposes. If you do not permit or accept this, please contact Status Golf management with a link to the image via email info@statusgolf.com.au and any image featuring you will be promptly removed. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us share the Status Golf experience with our community.

     

    SECTION 4 – DISCLOSURE

    We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

     

    SECTION 5 – WIX

    Our website is hosted by Wix. They provide us with the online platform that allows us to provide information on our products and services to you.

    Your data is stored through Wix’s data storage, databases, and the general Wix application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

     

    SECTION 6 – PAYMENT

    All payments for purchases made on the Status Golf website are through Squareup.

    SECTION 7 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

    In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

    However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

    For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

    Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

    Status Golf is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make Web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly to everyone. Whilst Status Golf strive to adhere to the guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website and we are currently working to achieve this. Be aware that due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.

    COMPETITIONS 

    Long Drive and Nearest the Pin Competitions can only be entered or played as a side or extra game during your visit to Status Golf.

     

    The $5 cash goes towards prizes and the cash kitty for the competitions; no allowance has been made for general wear and tear of our equipment; therefore, you are unable to play just the Long Drive or Nearest the Pin Competitions without the minimum 1 hour visit to Status Golf.

    Competition wins are limited to a maximum of 5 wins, per competition, per calendar year and only on alternate months ie: If you have won the competition in January then you cannot enter the competition until March.

    This is to ensure all customers have a fair chance of winning.
